The Update Before Christmas

Hey all, Just a quick update before the holidays (which is literally upon us). 
I've finished our production counts, and finalizing our production quotes. (something like 2500 of all three kits, 3000 of owlbears, and lots and lots of pins over 2000!)

I recently just spoke to our manufacturer, and I am expecting that the samples are on their way for me to check out and review (likely hat, and fishing kit, and hopefully new shield, as well as the purple colors, finally). 
From there, it seems like we'd confirm and production would happen in Janurary, which would then put fulfillment probably out to march/april (we'll confirm that as production gets scheduled for freight). 
When I get the samples I'll post them right away!
Thank you all for the support, and patience as we work through the manufacturers, and get these owlbears underway!

Fishing Update!

Hey all!
This week manufacturer got back to me about fishing prototypes based on the art we've produced.
I absolutely love them and love the colors! (i am curious what you guys think of the boot being purple as opposed to brown).  (also crab arms will be plush, the felt is just temp),

As for other items, hat is still undergoing a little bit of tweaking,
and still waiting on the utility belt (not sure how we're including it yet).

They did look into the double magnet idea, they found it was causing more problems cause when they stuck together it would cause problems.

More updates to come! I do need to put the pin order, so I'm gonna get on that as well (curious, how do you feel about making the druid/bard/rogue pin designs available to you before the next accessories project?)

Acccessories Update!

Hey All!
just wanted to post an update for you all.
Ive gotten the initial prototypes from the manufacturer, and have provided them feedback/


wizard set, there really is no complaints, everything looks and feels great. 
the hat will be loose (as there's no way to really have it stick,  but we are adding a loupe in the hat, so if you do want to run a fishing line or thread around you can still do that.)

staff also held great, I've asked about a second magnet position

For the warrior, 
I've had these concerns, although the pattern is good, its just away too thin, and needs to be a thicker material..otherwise its just floppy..it does look good on the owlbear tho


Health potion, axe and sword all look great. 
My main question at this point has been about potentially having two magent locations, so that owlbear can hold them a bit differently. 
Also, Im inquiring about a utility-belt, essentially a strap with two or three magnets on it, so the owlbear could put the accessories around him (be it the sword or the potion or the spellbook and have it placed on his back or side).

Dont have swatches for purple yet, nor do i have fishing stuff, though i am expecting that soon.

Hey all!
Been working with the manufacturer about quantities, and getting the fishing kit illustrated up to be used
and i think we have the following

 herring

Trout


Chest (concept art)

Boot (concept art)

Crab (concept)

Fishing pole (handle)


There’s some tweaks to see how these will look once actually in shape, but we know pretty feasibly how the fishes will turn out.

Surveys Starting!

Hey All,
Two things to note!
I just sent out the 'smoke test' surveys (which sents it out to 10% of backers),  this helps us iron out any issues that come up before everyone gets in.  (so if you see anything please let me know).

Also, we haven't done this before on our projects but we'll be charging shipping later. Since I'm unsure about how much everything weighs and how these packages will come together, this is the safest option for us until we figure out what these things will look like and how they can be packed.

(if we get to charging shipping and it ends up being too much,ill work with you to figure out a solution, be it changing order,refund, or something else. 

I should be getting the rest of the surveys either sent out tonight or tomorrow!
